This American Robin was photographed within the Cape Disappoint State Park outside of Ilwaco WA. American Robins are common across all areas within the continent. With their beak tilted upward you can watch them survey the land creating a perfect pose for your photographing pleasure. Up early in the morning searching for earthworms and if your lucky you can see them tugging them out of the ground. They are often seen in backyards and in towns but are just as at home in the wilderness. As one of Americas most loved birds they can be identified easily as they are a potbellied bird with distinctive plumage, and a pleasing song.
